So yesterday was my first day in Rome. I had a nice time walking for hours around the city.
However, that post will come a bit later as I don’t currently have WiFi in my apartment, and I don’t want to write a lot on my iPhone.
When checking into my AirBnB unit, it’s a nice apartment, I was given the WiFi password. However my mistake was not trying it then. I wasn’t given a network name, I realized later, and can’t get it to work on any of them. I’ve been emailing about it, and she’s been trying to help. But no luck yet. And she’s out of town as it’s a holiday weekend here. But should hopefully get resolved in another day or two. If not I guess I’ll take my laptop to a cafe with WiFi.
Also didn’t ask how to turn on the stove, didn’t think I’d need to, but apparently just the knob on the wall isn’t enough to get the gas going. Interesting dealing with my first AirBnB and first Italian flat at the same time, probably increasing my inefficiency at some of this.
Hope to post more soon, when I can do it from my laptop not phone.
